Randy A. Hoffman, Speech and Language Pathologist, has worked at major medical centers including the Parkinson’s Institute, Rehabilitation Institute of Chicago, and at the University of Illinois Ravenswood Hospital. She has provided services to outpatient clinics, nursing facilities, and home health programs.
Randy now exclusively works in private practice, specializing in helping patients with Parkinson’s Disease (PD). Her professional expertise includes treating people with voice disorders using the Lee Silverman Voice Treatment (LSVT) approach. She is one of a very small group of practitioners certified to provide this specialized voice approach to individuals with PD. Randy carefully evaluates each patient and provides individualized treatment programs. In addition, she conducts a follow-up program including a voice practice group for LSVT graduates.
Randy is a member of the American Speech, Language, and Hearing Association and of the California Speech-Language-Hearing Association. Randy maintains active participation in continuing education programs, logging over 50 hours annually.
Randy and her husband have 3 children, 1 grandchild and 2 labradoodles. Randy enjoys hiking, cross-country skiing and yoga.
